Scheming Rove: Show Him the Money!

Karl Rove is undeserving of a speck of respect. This man has no integrity and is a coy, manipulative, scheming man. George W. Bush has called Karl Rove “The Architect”. While I have to hand it to Rove, he does seem to be capable of running campaigns- no matter how dirty he has to get or how low he must stoop. Prior to Rove’s time at the White House, he was a Republican political consultant and strategist. He worked on many notable campaigns.

Tried to Get Net Neutrality, Comcast said No, No, No.

Net Neutrality is a legislative proposal to keep the internet open and free from corporate greed. Opposition for net neutrality comes from fiscally conservative think tanks (Americans for Tax Reform and The Cato Institute) which suggest net neutrality may violate first amendment rights. The argument is that the First Amendment prohibits government from forcing owners of communication infrastructure to transmit information against their will. Large hardware companies, cable and other telecommunication companies (Verizon, Comcast, Time Warner,AT&T) are also opposed to net neutrality. Between 2006 and 2008 these mega corporations- along with Koch led Americans For Prosperity- lobbied $218 million to Representatives and gave $23.7 million in campaign contributions to oppose net neutrality.

Sarah Palin: American Idiot

Sarah Palin. Love her or hate her this woman has made a splash in the media. There are whispers of this woman possibly running for President in 2012. This intrigues me and I have decided to read up on Sarah to see where she stands.

Sarah Palin was born in Sandpoint, Idaho and her family relocated to Alaska when she was an infant. In 1984 Palin was named Miss Wasilla and placed third in the Miss Alaska pageant. Sarah college hopped and finally received her bachelor's degree in communications with an emphasis in journalism in 1987 from University of Idaho.
