Differences Between Democrats and Republicans

I came across this article written by Jeff at Addicting Info website. This list of fifteen key differences between the two parties is simple and straight forward. Shockingly, the list is absolutely true all while being brutally honest without attempting to be condescending to either party. If more people understood these key differences our country would be in much better shape.

Instead of trying to re-write, re-author or write an article around such a great list, I thought it better to present and share his list as-is and give full credit to Jeff at addictinginfo.org. Without further ado...

Fifteen Differences Between Democrats and Republicans:

"Republicans fear that the government has too much control over corporations.
Democrats fear that corporations have too much control over our government.

Democrats believe it benefits all of us to help the weakest and the poorest among us.
Republicans believe it benefits all of us to help the wealthiest and most powerful among us.

Another Day, Another Lie: Bill O'Rielly Threatens to Quit if...

O'Reilly warned his audience on his Monday(9-19) show that, "if Barack Obama begins taxing me more than 50 percent, which is very possible, I don't know how much longer I'm going to do this."

Lawrence O'Donnell scoffed on his Tuesday show at Bill O'Reilly's threat to end his cable news program if his taxes are raised.

O'Donnell gave some background to set up his argument. He also begin with informing his audience that Congress, not Obama, holds the power of taxation, and that O'Reilly should have mentioned that body in his resignation threat. "O'Reilly has to lie about everything in that statement in order to make it credible to his audience, whose gullibility he has precisely calculated in the lies that he's loaded into that sentence," he said.

Not Rich? You Don't Count

The government isn’t shutting down. Aren’t we all just thrilled? Deep down, I felt it wouldn’t shut down anyway, I mean, would Congress be so bold as to still accept checks for not working? Nah, many said they wouldn’t take pay. Since they are greedy by nature, of course they will “strike a deal”.

Also, how on earth did the democrats “compromise”? Like Bill Maher said, it’s kind of like your lawyer telling you “I think I can get your tailgating charge upgraded to manslaughter.” I understand we all have to give up things and we have to “tighten our belts” but WHY doesn’t that apply to fat cats and corporations? Seriously, if we would make the top 2%- heck even the top 1% pay more taxes- it would create more revenue and we could be a much better functioning country.

Why are we taking away a $6.7 million dollar fund that helps
